About Me —
I'm a senior designer originally from Alabama. I got my bachelor's in Graphic Design at Alabama A&M University (proud HBCU alum ✨) and then spent several years building my career in Los Angeles before deciding it was time to bring my talents to the East Coast.
I've been designing for beauty and luxury brands for over eight years, with work featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, and Good Housekeeping. But some of my best creative inspiration has come from outside the studio. I've lived in China, traveled through Europe, and most recently spent some time in Japan. Travel has a way of shaking loose the ideas that were stuck.
I've also been teaching painting for almost ten years. Watching someone build confidence in their own ability to create something beautiful never gets old. It's kept my instincts sharp in ways I didn't expect — all of it shows up in how I approach the work. A sense of how things can look and feel across different contexts. A curiosity that doesn't really turn off.
My dog thinks she's my manager. She's not wrong. She's very clear about when it's time to close the laptop.
I believe the best work happens when the people doing it actually enjoy being around each other. Some of my closest friends are people I met at work. That's what happens when you find the right environment.
